Welcome to Hands On Physiotherapy
The practice was established in 1993 by Andrea Wright and Philippa Widdowson. Success has come through effective patient management, enabling patients to understand their problem and help them to resolve the cause, whether it is due to poor posture, sports injury, an accident or just the way we are made! The physios you will see have years of clinical expertise and patient care. They are extremely knowledgeable which enables the client to have the least number of sessions.
The practice has been in Handforth for 29 years, having (in 2006) relocated to a purpose built, modern and spacious clinic. In particular, we are able to help clients in ACUTE PAIN by using up to date electrotherapy that speeds up the healing rate such as Laser Therapy (Low Level Laser Therapy LLLT) and Deep Oscillation Therapy. We pride ourselves in investing in these modalities to improve patient care and speed up the recovery process. This often means patient’s will only need to attend for an average of 4 sessions. Many clients come for a diagnosis and learn how to self manage their problem with specific exercises and educational advice.
